Ik maak me er ook niet meer zo druk om. Ik speel meer met de instelling van "Play as you deem it to be fun". A.k.a. speel zoals jij wil. Als jij geld wil uitgeven aan TH promo's, be my guest.

What is Treasure Hunter?

Treasure Hunter is playable from within RuneScape, allowing players to use Keys to claim in-game items as prizes. These range from useful resources to rare weapons and exclusive gear.

Playing Treasure Hunter is simple - click the treasure chest icon that pops up when you log in. If you've not played before, just follow the on-screen guide.

Everyone gets at least one Key per day, and RuneScape members get two. You can earn more Keys while playing the game, or stock up by redeeming Bonds.

If you'd like more, you can also buy Keys on the website, or by clicking 'Buy Keys' within the Treasure Hunter interface in-game.

Pick up a shimmering Lunarfury cosmetic override outfit until 23:59 UTC on 10th April.

Amass lunar spheres in the course of your Runecrafting training, in Daily Challenges, on Treasure Hunter, or by trading with other players.

Click on these to open the Lunarfury Armour interface, where you can spend spheres to craft any of six different outfit pieces and three two-handed weapons. Youll get a chunk of Runecrafting XP each time you do so.

Once youre wearing the cosmetic override pieces, you can train Mining or Runecrafting to fortify them (or use lunar crystals bought with spheres or won on Treasure Hunter), eventually unlocking an improved, all-the-flashier version.

If youve collected all the first-tier pieces, you can use leftover spheres in to earn XP in Mining or Runecrafting up to 10,000 spheres in each skill.

The currency items will become untradeable with the game update on the 24th of April, and any unused ones will be cleaned up at 23:59 UTC the 5th of May.

Enjoy!

We hope youre over the moon with this spectacular new outfit. Let us know what you think on the forums.

There's a new way to pick up prizes in Treasure Hunter. From 00:00 Game Time on 10th May until 23:59 Game Time on 15th May, get hunting for Buried Treasure.

For that duration, your Treasure Hunter interface will be transformed into a grid-based map, and you'll open chests by clicking on squares within it.

Each square contains at least a normal chest, but 6 per grid will contain a special chest, containing a trove of 4 or 5 prizes.

These come in four types, which can contain different types of items and the amount left to find on your grid will be displayed at the side of the interface.

Here's what each chest type may contain:

Experience Chest Protean Chest Skilling Chest Antique Chest Meteorites Protean bars Springs Gold coins Lava lanterns Protean hides Spirit gems Pulse cores Smouldering lamps Protean traps Portable packs Prismatic lamps/stars Hydra lamps Protean memories Dungeoneering tokens Dragon ceremonial outfit* Celebration lamps Protean cogs Skilling dummy packs Queen's guard outfit* Prismatic lamps/stars Protean planks Combat dummy packs Wicked Hood teleports Protean logs Pulse cores D&D tokens Protean packs (s/m/l) Silverhawk feathers Magic notepaper

*Note that the antique chest will always contain at least one piece of these two outfits, unless you already own both ? in which case it will contain rare tokens.

There's also a chance that any of these above chest types will contain a special prize: a Treasure Chest rest animation, a held Treasure Map item, or a much rarer chance to get a lucky item (including retired ones).
