Smouldering Lamps

Smouldering Lamps

Originele tekst

Afbeelding

From 00:00 UTC on 7th June until 23:59 UTC on 12th June, stock up on smouldering lamps and light a fire under your XP gains.

If you're not familiar with these beauties, they award XP like an ordinary lamp, but also convert up to the same amount of Bonus XP into regular XP. That means you'll benefit from it immediately.

Use your smouldering lamps on skills that you've got plenty of Bonus XP in to get the most out of them.

If you've still got some Menaphos recommended levels to chase, this might be the perfect pick-me-up. Have fun!

There?s a Meteor Storm coming, offering up to 100% extra XP compared to standard lamps and stars.

From 00:00 UTC on 14th June until 23:59 UTC on 19th June, pick up meteorites and space dust on Treasure Hunter, which replace standard lamps and stars.

These offer 33% more XP or Bonus XP than standard stars or lamps. Better yet, if you use them on one of your lowest five skills, the XP boost shoots up to 100%!

Your five skills eligible for the 100% boost will be highlighted in the interface. Note that if one or more of your five lowest skills is 99 and your Dungeoneering, Invention and/or Slayer are between 99 and 120, the skill(s) with the 120 cap will be eligible for the boost, except in certain rare cases where your higher-capped skills are of the same level.

Elite Skilling Outfit Bonanza

Bericht door Bot »

Elite Skilling Outfit Bonanza

Originele tekst

Afbeelding

From 00:00 UTC on 5th July until 23:59 UTC on 10th July, pick up skilling outfit pieces on Treasure Hunter, then combine them to make Elite Skilling Outfits.

For the first five days, a different outfit type will be available, including a couple of new entries for the Bonanza ? the Camouflage Outfit for Thieving and the Gorajan Outfit for Dungeoneering. Then, on the sixth day, you?ll have a chance to get any of the five outfit types.
  • 5th July: Ethereal (Runecrafting)
  • 6th July: Shark (Fishing)
  • 7th July: Divine Simulacrum (Divination)
  • 8th July: Camouflage (Thieving)
  • 9th July: Gorajo (Dungeoneering)
  • 10th July: All Outfits
Note - If you complete all the outfits then you will be rewarded instead with either a large lamp or large star for the skill represented by that day's outfit. On the final day, the prize will be a large XP star or lamp for any of the skills counted for across the promo.

How do Elite Skilling Outfits work?

Each standard skill outfit comes in 3 cosmetically different varieties (4 for the Dungeoneering outfit), each of which has five pieces. When worn, these grant XP and skill-related bonuses for that skill, some of which increase in potency the more pieces you wear, and some of which are only granted when wearing a full set.

Combine all three varieties of an outfit piece to create an Elite Skilling Outfit piece.

Afbeelding

Please note that Elite Skilling Outfits cannot be won directly on Treasure Hunter, and can only be created from pieces of the lower-tier outfits for their skill.

When all five pieces of an Elite Skilling Outfit have been created and are worn together, they confer a great number of benefits for that skill.

Infinity Ethereal Outfit
  • 7% chance to double your runes (and therefore XP) when siphoning in the Runespan
  • Five daily teleports to the Yellow Wizard
  • Rune-free travel between platforms (skill requirements must still be met)
  • 50% chance for rune pouches not to degrade
  • 12 rune essence or pure essence can be stored in the body
  • Body and legs grant a weight reduction effect
  • Corresponding pieces grant the effects of the Master Runecrafting Robes, Wicked Robes, Wicked Hood and Morytania Legs 4, if owned
Fury Shark Outfit
  • +7% fishing catch chance
  • Chance to catch extra fish
  • Chance to not use bait when catching
  • Living Rock creatures are not aggressive
  • Grants the XP boost of the fishing outfit, for each corresponding piece owned
  • The option to eat all the fish you catch, for double the XP and no bank running
Elder Divination Outfit
  • 7% chance to double harvested memories, granting twice the XP and divine energy
  • 7% chance to double chronicle fragments or elder chronicles
  • 5% chance for 5x the energy when harvesting wisps
  • Three teleports per day to any wisp colony, as long as level and quest requirements are met
  • Unlimited teleports to May Stormbrewer. If The World Wakes is completed, this includes Guthix?s Cave
  • Grants the XP boost of the diviner?s outfit, for each corresponding piece owned
Master Camouflage Outfit
  • 7% chance to pickpocket twice
  • 7% chance to avoid stunning when caught pickpocketing
  • 7% chance to avoid snake bites in Pyramid Plunder
  • Allows auto-pickpocketing up to 10 times in a row
  • Increased chance of finding Black Ibis clothing and the Sceptre of the Gods in Pyramid Plunder
  • Increases chance of finding Seren symbol pieces
  • Imparts the benefits of the Gloves of Silence, the Trahaearn exoskeleton, and the XP effects of the Black Ibis outfit, if owned
Warped Gorajan Trailblazer Outfit
  • 7% XP boost to all skills while Dungeoneering
  • 7% XP boost for floor completion
  • 7% lower depletion rate on skilling spots
  • 7% combat damage boost while Dungeoneering
  • 7% discount on rewards shop and floor prestige
  • +3 level boost to all stats while Dungeoneering
  • Greater spawn rate of rare Slayer mobs while Rungeoneering
  • No slipping on icy floors
  • May skip one puzzle room per party per floor
  • 20% chance to not use up a lock melter
  • +3 daily sinkhole teleports
  • +10% XP from Sinkhole dungeoneering lamps
Enjoy!

This is the perfect opportunity to collect the pieces you need for that amazing skilling outfit - or outfits! Have fun, and we?ll see you in game.

Bonus Chests are Back

Originele tekst

Afbeelding

From 00:00 UTC on 12th July until 23:59 UTC on 17th July, Bonus Chests are back on Treasure Hunter, offering double or triple the prizes of a regular chest ? plus a cheeky peek inside before you open. There's also twice the chance to get the triple prize, compared to last time!

Everyone can log in and open Treasure Hunter as soon as it kicks off to receive three complimentary medium prismatic lamps, and open more chests to progress towards more. Yep - even if you've claimed them in a previous run of Bonus Chests.

Please note: this promotion is not available to Ironman accounts.

How does it work?

Each Key that you use to open a chest will add charge to the progress bar at the top of the Treasure Hunter interface.

Afbeelding

At five, your Bonus Chest will manifest fully, allowing it to be opened (no additional Key required) and the prize will be doubled or tripled. From this point, you can open the chest, or keep opening regular chests.

Each chest you open redetermines the contents and multiplier of the chest (which are visible). The bar won't progress beyond 10, but you can open more chests to refresh the Bonus Chest's contents. Opening the Bonus Chest - of course - resets the bar to 0.

Enjoy!

Have fun opening up those Bonus Chests. See you in Gielinor!

Dune Fractures

Originele tekst

Reyna's magical beach-building experiments have had yet more unexpected consequences, as dune fractures have opened up around Gielinor.

From 00:00 UTC on 19th July until 23:59 UTC on 24th July, find a large fracture north of the Lumbridge Crater, and smaller ones around the world.

Channel your power into these to close them and earn XP in Mining or Runecrafting, plus reputation that can be exchanged for awesome new teleport animations themed after those skills.

There's a daily cap on how much XP and reputation you can earn from the fractures, but if you want to unlock the rewards quickly or turbo charge your XP gains, Treasure Hunter's here to help.

For the duration of the event, dune menders will be available on Treasure Hunter: consumable items that not only allow you to exceed your daily cap, but also multiply the XP you gain from the fractures by 25!

Enjoy!

Alice has been clearing out some of her old treasures, and that gives you a chance for even more prizes!

From 00:00 UTC on 2nd August until 23:59 UTC on 7th August, when opening chests, along with your normal prizes you?ll also receive Oddments, which can be used to get even more awesome items.

These little trinkets can be exchanged for several prizes, including more Treasure Hunter keys and rewards from past community events, such as the Sword of Raddallin, Energised Arm Cannons and the Mystical Staff. You can even get the Silverhawk Boots (members only) and the Spring Cleaner at no cost, via the Oddments store!

With each prize you receive from the chests, the interface will show how many Oddments you?ll get, and the rarer the prize, the more of them you get. You can also cash out any unwanted prizes into more Oddments to use in the reward shop. Note that this will replace the cash out with gold coins for the duration of the promotion.

On top of that, all lamps and stars have been replaced with their prismatic counterparts for the duration of the event! Talk to Lady Niya next to the Burthorpe lodestone to get all the details.

After Alice?s stock ends, you?ll have until 14th August to use any leftover oddments before they turn into dust. Be sure to use them up while you can.

Enjoy!

Get your hands on these marvellous little bits and bobs, and bag a load more prizes!
