Your hunting experience just got better, as you can now open chests to collect three Hunter themed outfits and combine them to make the elite Volcanic Trapper outfit. They?ll be available on Treasure Hunter from 00:00 UTC on 23rd August to 23:59 UTC on 28th August, so complete your set while you can!
How do I get the outfits?
Similarly to previous versions of the elite skilling outfits, there are three five-piece tradeable outfits to collect over this week:
Desert Trapper Outfit
Jungle Trapper Outfit
Arctic Trapper Outfit
One outfit will be available on each of the first three days, so check back to get a different one. All outfits will be available for the final three days.
Equivalent pieces from the three outfits can be combined into pieces of the elite version: The Volcanic Trapper outfit. Besides being a sharp look, it also gives you a range of amazing benefits for your Hunter training.
What are the benefits?
Wear five matching pieces of any of the basic outfits to enjoy the following:
5% increase to hunting success rate
Auto-reapplying of Juju Hunter potion in Herblore Habitat
Increased chance of rarer charm sprites from Yaktwee
3 daily teleports to Hunter locations
Wearing the elite Volcanic Trapper outfit in its entirety gives an expanded list of benefits:
7% increase to hunting success rate
10% chance of double loot
Can deploy an extra trap (maximum of 6)
Increased conversion rate for Big Chinchompa reward points
Chance to instantly deploy/pick up traps
Chance of double loot from implings (3 per day)
Works as a hunter's catalyst fragment if owned
Auto-reapplying of Juju Hunter potion in Herblore Habitat
Increased chance of rarer charm sprites from Yaktwee
5 daily teleports to hunter locations
Note that any of the four outfits above will also confer the benefits of the base Hunter?s outfit, if owned.
Keep in mind that any updates from the past 6 months that affect your Hunter training won?t be useable with the Trapper outfits until 6 months after their release. For example, teleports to crystal skillchompas and plover birds will only appear 6 months after their respective release dates.
Enjoy!
If these were the benefits increasing outfits you?ve been hunting for all your life, this is your lucky week. Have fun!

What is Treasure Hunter?
Treasure Hunter is playable from within RuneScape, allowing players to use Keys to claim in-game items as prizes. These range from useful resources to rare weapons and exclusive gear.
Playing Treasure Hunter is simple - click the treasure chest icon that pops up when you log in. If you've not played before, just follow the on-screen guide.
Everyone gets at least one Key per day, and RuneScape members get two. You can earn more Keys while playing the game, or stock up by redeeming Bonds.
If you'd like more, you can also buy Keys on the website, or by clicking 'Buy Keys' within the Treasure Hunter interface in-game.
Lava lanterns are back and better than ever, casting a luminous glow on Treasure Hunter from 00:00 UTC on 30th August until 23:59 UTC on 4th September.
Each lantern now gives 100% of the regular XP a lamp of the same size would give, plus the same amount of Bonus XP on top - meaning 200% XP in total.
So if a lamp would normally give you 10,000 XP, a lava lantern of equivalent size would give you 10,000 XP and 10,000 Bonus XP - a total of 20,000 XP.
Stoke up your skill training this week. See you in game!

The new Prize Pool will be active on Treasure Hunter from 00:00 (UTC) game time from 20th September until 23:59 (UTC) on 25th September. With every Key you use, you have a chance to earn a bonus prize on the Prize Pool interface at the top of the screen. Claim that extra prize immediately, or use more Keys to get a chance at more, rarer, prizes.
Every Key you use will apply one of two actions: add an extra prize to your pool, or remove all prizes gathered so far from it. The longer you hold out without claiming, the more extra prizes you can claim and the rarer your prize pool collection will get. But be careful - you could lose it all!
Engage the new threshold to maximise efficiency. Manually position your prize pool threshold, and you'll be prompted to claim your prizes when you reach your target! Give it a try on Treasure Hunter.

Buried TreasureDig for treasure again and find great rewards!
Treasure Chests have been lost beneath the autumn sands and the time to unearth them has come. From 00:00 game time on the 15th November through to 23:59 on the 20th November, scoop up some Buried Treasure on Treasure Hunter.
On opening the Treasure Hunter interface you'll be met with a grid-based map, and you'll open chests by clicking on squares within it.
Each square contains at least a normal chest, but 6 per grid will contain a special chest, containing a trove of 4 or 5 prizes.
These come in four types, which can contain different types of items and the amount left to find on your grid will be displayed at the side of the interface.
*Note that the antique chest will always contain at least one piece of these two outfits, unless you already own both - in which case it will contain rare tokens.
There's also a chance that any of these above chest types will contain a special prize: a Treasure Chest rest animation, a held Treasure Map item, or a much rarer chance to get a lucky item (including retired ones).
Good luck! May your foraging be fruitful!
