Upcoming Jagex Launcher Maintenance Notice - January 17th

On Thursday January 18th , the Jagex Launcher will be undergoing maintenance for general security improvements.The precise time will be communicated closer to launch via our social channels but we currently expect this to be around 11:00 GMT . We do not expect there to be any downtime for players as the game will not be impacted.
As part of this, players will be required to log back into the Launcher with a Jagex Account. If you are already logged into the Launcher and in-game, you will be able to continue playing until you either log out or attempt to change world. After this, you will then be required to log back in with your Jagex Account credentials.
For those of you logging into the Jagex Launcher via a RuneScape account, you will be required to upgrade to a Jagex Account to continue using the Launcher. Upon attempting to log in with a RuneScape account, you will see this message:
If you haven't made the switch yet, but would like to, upgrade to a Jagex Account ahead of time to avoid any disruption, click the 'upgrade now' button and get the best protection for your accounts today.
